Take monthly and annual plans with sales tax added at checkout, keep renewals paying, pay your cloud bills and contractors, and file every return, on one system of record.
Quillfox, a made-up AI note-taking company, on Cedar. On its checkout page, with the Hosted checkout block, Maya Chen picks the Pro plan at $49 a month, billed monthly. The Tax block adds $4.35 of New York sales tax, and she subscribes for $53.35 a month in one tap with Cedar Go, as the Payments and Fast Checkout blocks land. A month later her bank has reissued her card, and with the Token vault block the card on file updates automatically. The renewal is declined on the first processor, retried on a second with the Payments orchestration block, and paid. Then Quillfox's dashboard, as five cards. Payments: subscriptions coming in from Maya Chen, Brightwell Labs on the Team plan billed annually, Sam Patel and Northwind Studio by ACH. Banking: renewals settled to operating, sales tax set aside in its own account, and idle cash earning interest. Vendors: AWS on the infrastructure card within its limit, a contract designer paid by ACH with a W-9 on file, and the 1099-NEC filed in January. Tax: a threshold crossed in Texas and registered for you, VAT in the United Kingdom registered and filed, and every return filed and paid. Books and company: books closed in QuickBooks, Delaware franchise tax paid by March 1, and a board consent on file.
All sixteen blocks, by the five things a software company needs.
Monthly and annual plans, by card or ACH, in one tap at checkout.
Cards updated when banks reissue them, declined renewals retried, and the customers likely to lapse in view.
Added at checkout, and registered, filed and paid wherever you owe it.
Cloud bills on cards with their own limits, contractors paid by ACH, and their 1099s filed.
Renewals settled to your account, books closed in QuickBooks, and Delaware kept current.
Quillfox's saved cards
