Fern & Field Coffee's book of people lists customers and recipients together: Jordan Lee, a returning customer, $412.00; Sam Okafor, a contractor paid $7,340.00 with a 1099 ready; Alex Kim, a new customer, $36.00; Bluebird Packaging, a vendor paid $29,760.00 with a W-9 on file; and Rosa Martinez, a customer at risk, $284.00. Opening Jordan shows 8 orders and $412.00 lifetime, an average of $51.50, tagged Returning and Top 10%, with the insight that Jordan usually orders every 3 weeks and is likely to order again by October 20. Then the insights for the last 6 months: 41% of customers came back, $18,240 of returning revenue, up every month since April, and 18 customers at risk because they're overdue for their usual order.

Everyone who pays you, and everyone you pay.

Every customer, donor, vendor and contractor gets a record that fills itself from the money moving through Cedar. See who's coming back, who's slipping away, and export any of it.

A book that keeps itself.

Nobody types anyone in. Every payment and payout fills it, so it's never out of date.

One person, one record

Whether someone pays by card, by bank, through a link or at your checkout, it all lands on one record with their contact details and every payment.

Everyone you pay, too

Contractors, vendors and grantees get a record from their first payout, with everything you've paid them, their bank account, their W-9 and their 1099.

Groups that update themselves

Groups stay current as people pay, and suggested groups point out the ones worth a look. Export any of them in a click.

Your lists, whenever you want them

Export any list or group as a spreadsheet, with the details you choose, to use in your email tool or anywhere else.

Know your donors, not just your gifts.

For nonprofits, the same book shows who gives every month, who gave last year but not yet this year, and who gives the most, all built from real gifts.

Recurring givers
Everyone who gives every month, and anyone whose monthly gift has stopped.
Lapsed donors, caught early
Donors who gave last year but not yet this year, in one list, ready to thank and ask again.
Year-end statements
Every donor's giving for the year in one statement, sent to all of them in one click.

It's all part of the bigger build.

Questions about CRM.

Anything else? Book a call with us.

Where do the records come from?

From the money that moves through Cedar. Every payment you take makes or updates a customer, and every payout you send makes or updates a recipient. Nothing to import, and nothing to keep in sync.

Who counts as a recipient?

Anyone you pay through Payouts: contractors, vendors and grantees. Their bank accounts, W-9s and 1099s sit on their record with everything you've paid them.

How does it know who's likely to lapse?

It learns how often each customer usually buys or gives, and flags the ones who are overdue. Suggested groups work the same way. You decide what to do with them.

Can we get our data out?

Yes. Export any list or group as a spreadsheet, any time.

Does it replace HubSpot or Salesforce?

No. It's the record of who paid you and who you paid, kept by the payments themselves. Export a group to use it anywhere else.

Can other Cedar businesses see our customers?

No. You only ever see your own customers and recipients. When Cedar Go recognizes a shopper from another business, that's used to fill in their checkout, and never shown to you or anyone else.

Is this donor management for nonprofits?

It covers the essentials, built from real gifts: recurring givers, donors who gave last year but not this year, major donors, and year-end statements in one click.

Can someone ask us to delete their details?

Yes. You can remove a person's details from their record. The payments themselves stay in your books.
